KBV is a hybrid music production company/record label. Founded by musician and executive music producer, Tony Verderosa, KBV offers creative licensing and original music for film, TV and new media through it’s roster of award winning film composers, music producers and recording artists.
The KBV artist collective has an impressive list of credentials that include Grammys, Emmys and major Hollywood films. Projects include HBO’s “Temple Grandin”, F/X’s “Lights Out” and indie features “Beware The Gonzo” starring Amy Sedaris and Judah Friedlander and “Allegiance” starring Aidan Quinn, Seth Gabel, Pablo Schreiber and Shad “Bow Wow” Moss. KBV is one of the first companies to offer Supervision, Licensing, Original Music and Album releases all under one banner.
Recent TV campaigns featuring music scored by KBV include the SONY Xperia Superbowl spot directed by Noam Murro (which earned the company a spot on SHOOT Magazine’s Top Ten Tracks list) as well as commercials for Jaguar, Best Buy, Smirnoff, Royal Caribbean, Miller Lite, Chase Bank, LG, HBO GO, Microsoft BING, Land Rover and Verizon. Advertising clients include Crispin Porter Bogusky, BBDO, JWT, Publicis, WK, Arnold, Merkley, Saatchi, McCann, McGarry Bowen and Grey among many others.
KBV founder and curator, Tony Verderosa has performed and recorded with a diverse list of artists such as Dream Theater’s John Petrucci, Michael Brecker, Underworld, Cold Cut, Eclectic Method and Angelique Kidjo to name a few. Tony V. was also the Music Director, Arranger, and drummer for the MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall, performing live with Katie Perry and Joe Perry (Aerosmith). Recent KBV projects include both video and original music content produced with violinist and singer/songwriter, Kishi Bashi in addition to a new album and video series featuring a new band from NYC called “Romans”. As a talent incubator and music branding company, KBV is uniquely positioned to continue to re-define the future of music creation and production.
